Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with every purchase on 3DKitFactory. This policy explains how refunds work for wallet tokens, kit purchases, and subscriptions.
Digital Products
3DKitFactory sells digital products (3D model kits delivered as downloadable files). Because digital goods can be accessed immediately after purchase, all sales are generally final. However, we understand that issues can arise and will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
Wallet Tokens
Tokens are the currency used to purchase kits on 3DKitFactory. Token purchases are processed by Stripe and are non-refundable once added to your wallet, except in the following cases:
- You were charged in error (duplicate charge, incorrect amount)
- You did not authorize the transaction
- A refund is required by applicable consumer protection law
Unused tokens remain in your wallet indefinitely and do not expire.
Kit Purchases
Once tokens are spent on a kit, the kit files are immediately available for download. Because of the instant-delivery nature of digital products, kit purchases made with wallet tokens are non-refundable.
If you experience a technical issue with a kit (corrupt files, missing content, or files that do not match the product description), please contact us and we will resolve the issue by providing corrected files or issuing a token refund to your wallet.
Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions grant tokens on a recurring basis. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You keep all tokens already granted to your wallet
- No further charges will be made after cancellation
We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access through the end of that month.
Free Kits
Free kits are available to any authenticated user at no cost. Since no payment is involved, no refund applies.
How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction. Include:
- Your account email address
- The date and amount of the transaction
- The reason for your refund request
We aim to respond to all refund requests within 3 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method via Stripe within 5-10 business days.
EU Consumer Rights
If you are located in the European Union, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases under the Consumer Rights Directive. However, by purchasing digital content and consenting to immediate delivery, you acknowledge that you waive this right of withdrawal once the digital content has been delivered (i.e., tokens added to your wallet or kit files made available for download).
This does not affect your statutory rights for defective or non-conforming digital content.
Chargebacks and Disputes
If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in account suspension while the dispute is under review.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this refund policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that transaction.
